I’m not back in town yet, still in Minneapolis airport. What the fuck though. That is scary, way too close to home. I live right across the river.

I don’t think any of my friends were there thank god but how do you escape a situation like that?? Deeply sad for those who died :(

He'll have to do that six more times for Marvin to actually let him get on the field in the regular season.

Dalton looks sharp as hell. Defense has sacked Josh Allen like 5 times already in 1.5 quarters

    Jags preseason game 3 takeaways

    1) Norwell is good. I mean damn good. Dude was all over their DL on running plays. He had one play where he got turned around because of a weird cutback Fournette made, and literally uses his backside to post up on two defenders like a basketball player, without even looking behind him, so Fournette could cut to the other side and score a TD. That was some next level shit. He seems to always know who to block. This game clearly showed he is both a great pull blocker AND great drive blocker

*this is gonna help Cam Robinson a lot too in his second year. The run blocking looked ROCK solid on the left side against ATL. Bortles had a clean pocket almost the whole half as well.

    2) we are gonna use Corey Grant a little bit like the Saints use Alvin Kamara. He’s a big time speed back (4.28 40’) with more power than you think, and he’s catching passes all over the place. I’m not saying he’ll put up those kinds of crazy numbers but in his own right, Grant is fantastic in the open field. He makes some offensive plays look like kick returns. I especially love that formation with split backs, Fournette and Grant, that’s gonna be fun.

    3) Bortles was just bad. 4 interceptable balls in the first quarter and a half, only one actually got picked and that’s lucky. (Second INT was the receivers’ fault though). He got benched for being bad last preseason and then played alright in the regular season. Fingers crossed that happens again cause I can’t take another year of bad Bortles, especially not with the talent we’ve built.

    4) Myles Jack took a step forward. He’s diagnosing plays well and hitting the line much more aggressively than he did last year. Telvin is a good influence on him because he’s learning how to REALLY use his speed. One of the plays he covered a WR for 4-5 seconds and then sprinted downhill and forced a scrambling Matt Ryan to run out of bounds behind the line. He has the speed to defend two things at once, so as his instincts improve, he should start to become a stud. Pick your poison - both our main LB can outflank you, cover slot receivers, and can flat out fly into the backfield like a blitzing safety.

    5) D Line looks even scarier. Malik Jackson and Yannick Ngakoue ESPECIALLY have been just, wreaking havoc this preseason. Great performance by both all three games.

Far as I can tell none of my friends were at the scene of the shooting. I’ve been messaging everyone I know.
