He was still married in 2006. Divorce didn't happen until 2009.

 

The As You Were podcast has had me revisit a lot of Remains tracks and my goodness I don't know why I ever skipped Queen of Pain and all its perfection

 

So many of my favorites are on Remains. I’m always amazed at how well it flows from beginning to end.

 

Same! Gets a little long by the end, but there really isn't a bad song on there.

I was pretty young when Remains came out and I used to skip most of that album for some reason.

 

Haha just giving you a hard time. That and Hell Yes are my super easy favorites off that one

 

Remains has Warbrain on it. Warbrain rules.

 

So I'm listening to Freewheelin' by Tuesday for the first time, and it's pretty damn fantastic. Not sure why I waited so long to check it out.

 

That Hot water Music split is prime Trio. Felt so effortlessly good.

 

Old School Reasons though

 

Hating Every Minute is awesome.

 

Remains is fantastic through and through.

 

I don’t think there’s a song I don’t love on it.

 

Hot take?: Warbrain is Matts best song in his career, or at least a top 5

 

I think most would agree it’s among his best. It’s in my top 3 with Bleeder and Continental.

 

Yeah Remains has two of my all time favorites by them (Warbrain and Jaked on Green Beers)

It also has another version of Sadie on it which is my #1 song by them ever

 

fighting to stay awake at work, figured as good a time as any to start a discography listen as I wait for Friday haha

 

I remember getting Remains after hearing them on Rock Against Bush back in the day. Damn Warbrain is still such a rad song.

 

The As You Were podcast has grown on me, but damn it they bash the band more than anything.

 

I felt this way at first but I think they just had a few songs in a row that they didn’t like. They’ve been mostly positive for several episodes now.

 

They have so that's cool. But sometimes I just feel like they just want something to nitpick at ! Aha.

 

Remains is awesome. This band has a strong collection of Bsides. Some of my Alk3 favourites as well

 

So cool this album hasn't leaked yet. FRIDAY!
