I've always liked Cody Kessler & generally agree with this

 

He’s about on-par for a WR2, or a great WR3. Nothing more nothing less.

 

He looks good in this offense.

 

Kessler is a very good backup. Bortles is doing worse this preseason than most of last year. I like to think Bortles can challenge the defense more and can make more difficult plays... but I’m not gonna keep lying to myself if he’s bad the first few weeks of regular season. Time’s up, perform or get out of the way

He looks the same as his bad games maybe. This is like versus Titans Bortles. Or versus Arians / Bowles defensive scheme Bortles.

I mean, nope. He made definite progress last year, and I’m looking for him to add to it. So far I’m not seeing that in preseason. Ignore last year if you want but if he was as bad as 2016, we wouldn’t have made the playoffs, let alone beat the Steelers.

Man. The only thing that could ruin this year for the Jags, is Bortles & the passing game regressing back from average to total shit. And this preseason looks like that is a clear possibility. I’m nervous.

Hold up. Are the Chiefs’ cornerbacks really Orlando Scandrick and David Amerson now? Why the fuck did they trade Peters lmao.

How the mighty have fallen. No wonder Chicago’s second team offense tore them apart. The Chiefs have done a total 180, their defense is gonna be horrible but Reid has that offense right where he wants it.

Also LOL at the Steelers shutting out the Titans in the first half. Even after subbing in backups. Mariota had 43 yards, a pick, and two sacks.

KCs offense is going to be fun....their defense is going to be really bad though.
