This long rollout would be more tolerable if the band had more updates about the recording process to share with us if they aren't going to put out some in-studio videos.

mike just posts the same damn “argument” over and over and over and over and over, and when he’s not doing that, he’s posting the most inane bullshit that makes coming to this thread a chore. then you’ve got leagues of people defending him anytime anyone says hey you’re being annoying. the “mike don’t leave!” crowd doesn’t give a shit about the people mike is actively pushing away from this thread. and trust me when I say it’s not just me. but for what it’s worth, yeah it’s pretty shitty that a thread for one of if not my favorite band ever is a chore to visit and one I quite frankly probably won’t be coming back to after this post because I know exactly how it’s going to be received and the responses I’m gonna get making me out to be the asshole here. So whatever just wanted to get this off my chest. I’ll be back when the album actually drops and we can have real conversations and not just bullshit about stuff that doesn’t matter

 

I think one reason we may not get studio teasers is bc tbe process was so heavily covered on their Instagram

 

I never like telling anyone to leave a thread.. that being said, it’s really annoying to see someone demanding things from a band.. they don’t owe fans a damn thing... you know.. not many bands from this scene get to 9 lps. The record itself is all I need to be happy.

I think Jason said it best, it’s not a healthy fan artist relationship. Also to be honest I doubt thrice cares if the chorus.fm thread is hyped, I know a lot of people in real life and on other parts of the internet really hyped on this. They will be fine.
