Wow I hope Superfade is the newest song to dominate ESPN.

Edit: I don't even watch ESPN.

 

The intro to SuperFade makes me wanna sing The I in Lie from Soul Punk.

 

This has hit me the most out of all their recent releases.

 

the re recorded lake effect kid is flawless

 

I'm seriously so in love with Super Fade. Is it hyperbolic to say it's the best post reunion song? Maybe I'm just excited but WOW

 

Lake Effect Kid gave me such a huge smile on my face. I've missed that sound from them so much, I know it's an old song but I was convinced they were gonna make it newer sounding

 

Exactly this. I had never spent too much time with the demo (unlike my best friend who considered it one of his favourite songs from his favourite band). The main take I had was that it really made me remember the sound that made fall in love with this band. I'm happy they have more mainstream success and whatever now, but I'll always miss this sound.

I hope they play this tomorrow.

As someone else on here said, when Patrick sings "take me home, take me home" all I can hear in my head is "to a place... I belongggggg" hahaha. Still a great song.

 

I like all three songs, but each one I like less than the one that precedes it.

 

Lake Effect Kid and City in the Garden are bangers, Super Fade is okay. 2 OUT OF 3 AIN'T BAD.

 

LEK is the best Fall Out Boy song in a decade. There's some of their new stuff I can get behind, but god damn do I love their pre-hiatus sound. Forgot how good it was

 

Really like Lake Effect Kid and while I like Patrick's vocals on the other two songs I don't think I need to ever listen to them again.

 

Super Fade is Young and Menace 2.0, which I do mean as a backhanded compliment
