What you’re talking about is sub packages. We wouldn’t have a starting caliber speed rusher at all in base packages without Yannick or Fowler. That’s what worries me. It’d be so easy to flank us and so easy for mobile quarterbacks to escape if we had bigs at each DE spot. Bryan and Campbell are good but you need speed to set the edge and play containment.

Yannick is fantastic, and if he was invincible we’d be fine with just him... but Murphy’s law is he would get unlucky and start getting hurt when we got rid of his rotating partner.

If we draft one or two speed DE next draft I will be more comfortable letting go of Fowler for money reasons. Currently his role on the roster is necessary in my opinion. I feel that every defense needs two quality edge rushers to be situation-versatile, and have necessary depth.

i almost pissed myself reading this.
i don't want to know any more details, not gonna read up on this. in my imagination this image and story places out best.

 

haven't watched this yet, but i always find it weird when people who have known someone such a short amount of time (in this case... 4 months?) do the imitating. like, imagine meeting someone and then 4 months later they're imitating you instead of someone you've known much longer. just seems odd to me. i certainly wouldn't feel comfortable doing it to someone i know so little time, but Mayfield will Mayfield.

(also wouldn't feel comfortable being shirtless in front of a bengal and that fucking car, but whatevs)
