I’ve never listened to Turnover so I have no idea what people are talking about

You both should absolutely remedy this. Peripheral Vision and Floral Green are fantastic.

Upside Down is crazy good.

Take Me As You Please is pretty happy and I like the vibe of that.

 

I don’t think it sounds like Peripheral Vision, but it absolutely seems like TSSF’s take on a shift in that direction

 

Really digging these songs, was just a casual fan of these guys before but these tracks are next level good

I’m starting to think they weren’t actually trolling like I thought they were on the TBS tour of these songs are any indication of the vibe they’re going for

 

The Charlotte date is the day before Thanksgiving so that lines up nicely with my school schedule. I'm surprised they are doing the Fillmore. They usually go to the Underground which is smaller.

 

Metro is WAY smaller than I expected for this tour

 

The NJ show really couldn't be a day later dammit

They have to be planning a second date when this one sells out quickly. I figured this would be at the Riv for sure, maybe even Aragon.

 

Honestly, the NYC show is a Thursday, before thanksgiving and after my applications are due

 

This has to be the case because Citizen is the third band on the bill and they headlined here (granted it wasn't a very full show).

I already have tickets to Laura Jane Grace at the Hideout, so I'm really hoping there is a 2nd night or I can get my friends on bored with a Michigan road trip.

 

idk what it is but Citizen aren't really pulling here anymore. they played the Cobra Lounge earlier this year and I thought tickets would be gone immediately but it didn't sell out until like a few days before

 

Yea I did notice that, but still the 3 bands together will easily pack the Metro. I don't expect these to last long at all.

It is weird and unfortunate what's going on with Citizen, but I think the Metro was an overshoot to begin with, and they've just been around a lot. They're good live, but nothing mind blowing, plus they also had a show at the House Cafe in DeKalb around that which I'm sure split the people from the farther out suburbs.

 

Does Kerrang put their interviews online? I’m interested in reading the interview

 

Sometimes yeah. Normally the smaller features go up, just not the massive ones like the cover story.
