Started watching that “Follow This” docuseries today. People are into some wildly weird things. Oddly fascinating.

 

I'm 4 episodes in with Ken Burns' Vietnam documentary and I've teared up a few times already. Some powerful stuff.

 

Started watching The Innocents and I'm kinda into it.

 

We just finished “Like Father” with Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammar, it was nice, kinda heartwarming at the end, few pretty good laughs.

 

Just watched Enemy. Enjoyed it but I really feel like I’m missing an allegory in there somewhere because that ending threw me for a loop.

 

I’d say watch it again soon, but I still love the ambiguity and don’t think “knowing” what the ending means is important.

Bateman was on Dax Shepard’s podcast today and it wasn’t hysterically funny.

 

Omg I'm watching cheers and frasier's dad is in this episode but he's not playing frasier's dad. The lack of continuity is killing me like it's worse than phoebe randomly encountering frank in an episode before she realizes theyre siblings cause at least it's like Hey she could plausibly run into her brother in the street beforehand without realizing it. But this is frasier's dad not being frasier's dad but he will be frasier's dad later!!

 

also for Phoebe and her brother, he rushes up and is focused more on his condom than who he's talking to. you know, priorities. so it's a bit more understandable than Frasier's dad, like you said.

 

From what I understand, the producers enjoyed working with the actor so much in that episode, they wound up casting him later on during development for the spinoff. Watch any old sitcom, and you’ll see so many actors pop up again as other characters just because they were liked by cast and crew.

 

I figured that's what happened and he's fantastic in Frasier so I applaud the decision but it's just so weeeeird

 

Omg Roz from Frasier is in this episode of Cheers what is next, Niles showing up???

Also dead that Frasier keeps complaining about being a father and how difficult children are while he spends every second at a bar.

 

Ok this episode of Cheers where woody gets into politics as a bet and they all like him cause he's not a politician and then Frasier has a dream that woody becomes president and fires all the missiles is such awful foreshadow of today my gawd.
