I feel like teddy is more valuable to the jags than fowler to the jets so I rly dk how that trade works, unless it's separately

 

If a trade goes down, it's probably Bridgwater for Fowler and a conditional pick.

The Jets have the worst OLB group that I can remember. Jordan Jenkins is it. The rest of those guys are awful, especially Dylan Donahue.

 

For some reason the jets don't like edge rushers too much

 

Bridgewater for Fowler and a conditional 4th is something I can get down with. My only concern would be having to re-sign Bridgewater this year, which seems counter-productive since we'd have to get rid of Fowler cause we can't afford him haha.

 

You need a better qb tho, I doubt it would cost a shitload to keep him unless he actually wants to gtfo jax, test FA and refuses any offer

 

Though if we get him and can Bortles then we can just give him Bortles money haha. I'm SHOOK over how much money we're about to spend next year. We've got to re-sign the best corner in the league, one of the best young edge rushers, and one of the best young linebackers.

 

Maybe the browns would take bottles for a pick haha

 

Trade Bortles for a 4th and make the trade essentially Bridgerwater for Fowler lol

 

I wish Alex Smith would have been traded to the Jags instead of the Redskins.

Id rather hold on to Fowler tbh. Draft a QB if Bortles doesn’t cut it this year.

 

Bryan and Fowler are totally different skill sets. If we lose Fowler? Who is our speed rusher when Yannick gets hurt or gets subbed out? All our other DL including Bryan are bigs.

At the least let Fowler play out the year while we scout speed rushers in the 2019 class. If we can’t resign him we are gonna need more depth at edge-rusher. Going this year with only Yannick as an outside speed threat is a huge risk of an injury-related setback to the team.

 

You kept going on about how you can't just replace Bortles but now we can just replace Bortles? haha

Looks like our other rusher is Carroll Phillips? Or just putting Bryan in for Yannick, which seems to be the easiest solution.

Also, the defensive line class in 2019 is ABSURD. The amount of talent that stayed back for one more year is insane. I have absolutely no worries at all about going into that class and drafting defensive line. You realize we drafted one of the top defensive linemen in this class? And this was a weak class.

 

This is the QB Cleveland needs.

I just don’t wanna jump the gun for Bridgewater. For all we know he could be behind Bortles development curve due to injury. He wasn’t head and shoulders above Bortles coming out of college and has unfortunately proven nothing in the NFL.

I mean, no cause Bryan can’t do Yannick’s job. Fowler is far more suited to spell him at that position.

Sure that’s fine. I still feel like having Fowler this year until then gives us security, considering we are capable of contending as long as our pass rush remains dominant.
