How did Luck look? 6/13 for 50 yards 0TD and 1INT doesn't look great.

 

He had one good drive. Looked rusty outside of that.

Fowler for Bridgewater?

 

I know Matt Kalil stinks but I’m still scared of what happens if he’s out for the year. I’m assuming Hurney makes a move. Both starting tackles injured.

 

Fowler was on the block already but the combination of him being an asshat and Taven Bryan being every bit as legit as advertised is the nail in his coffin.

 

Eh, Jets called us to gauge our interest. I’m not necessarily sold we would want to trade Fowler. Especially considering we are happy with Kessler as our backup

 

1. We ABSOLUTELY want to trade Fowler haha. We aren't re-signing him and we've got Bryan now.
2. We're happy with Kessler as the back-up but are we happy with Bortles as the starter?

I've always liked LJ. Doesn't mean I'm a Ravens sympathizer. I would love to see an AFC North where Mayfield and LJ battle for the div for the next 10+ years. But I still think it's way, way too early to be calling anyone a bust yet.

 

I'm still pissed the Giants deprived us of keeping the Rosen/Darnold rivalry going.

 

I mean because we've had guys who were clearly busts from the start.

 

Goes without saying. I'm just a bit disgruntled by this time of the preseason. Too many injuries, too many hot takes, not enough real football.

 

Why get disgruntled now? We've been sitting here for the last two years without real football.

 

I'd hate to see the Jets trade away more draft picks for someone like Dante Fowler, but Mike Maccagnan's drafts kind of stink so trading a mid-to-late round pick for Fowler could be alright.

A straight up swap of Bridgewater for Fowler would piss me off, because I feel like the Jets can actually get a lot back for the QB.

 

Doesn't Fowler get in trouble a lot?

 

He's suspended one game for throwing someone's groceries into a lake.

 

Is Jon Ryan bad or was the kid the Seahawks drafted just better?

 

Yeah, Fowler is gonna walk this year so I'm cool with getting whatever for him. If it's just a draft pick though I'm cool with waiting a few games into the season. If it's for Teddy Bridgewater then pull the trigger now*

*I don't know if I mean this metaphorically or actually kill me. Pick one. I'm sure I'll be fine with the decision.
