    Slow down, Quentin Supporter

It's super good. Had it on earlier.
You check out the new ones from The War and Treaty or Carolina Story yet, by chance? I think you'd enjoy them. Also, not exactly country, but the most recent record from Young Gun Silver Fox has gotten several plays from me.

Been a bit since I played his stuff but my first impression is this may be his most consistent/best. Seems like his previous cds had some pretty obvious highs and lows. That being said, I think the title track may be the weakest son on here. Or at least it’s my least favorite.

I love Logan Brill, has there been an announcement for a new cd?

Not yet, but I'm guessing it's imminent. She's releasing another new song tomorrow.

EDIT: Just kidding, the other one is here:

Just purchased Turnpike Troubadours tickets for November 2 in Detroit. They NEVER tour up in these parts. So stoked.

For whatever reason I hadn't been able to get into their last two releases, the self-titled one from a few years ago and their one from this year. The other day I listened to Goodbye Normal Street all the way through, and I guess I had forgotten how much I loved that album. I went back and gave their two newer ones a chance and they are both really solid. No individual songs jumped out at me as being standouts on either one right off the bat, but I liked them both all the way through.

I know I am about a year late here, but my brother just turned me on to Slaid Cleaves' latest album "Ghost on the Car Radio" and I was absolutely blown away. I listened to it all the way through and then played it again and did it a few times.

He also recommended I check out Evan Bartels' "The Devil, God & Me" but only one music purchase was in the budget for the moment. I did sample it though and find some videos and he is pretty damn impressive too. I am looking forward to buying that album and hearing the whole thing.

I love Slaid. Hickory might have been my favorite song from last year. Check out his other albums for sure, such an underrated artist.

I know I'm in my early days with the album but "Hickory" is way up there with me too. I am definitely going to check out the rest of his albums.

Highly recommend Evan Bartels. That album is great. This song isn’t on the record but it’s so good.

I ended up finding the entire Evan Bartels album to listen to legally. He has it up in his SoundCloud for streaming. It is incredible.

Diamonds and Gasoline and Goodbye Normal Street are AWESOME. The new ones are "solid" as you say but they didn't jump out at me like the first two albums did. They are both growers for sure.

I think the last two Turnpike albums are way better than the first three. Not sure how you can listen to self-titled and not hear immediate standouts. The 3-4 best songs Evan Felker has ever written are on that album.
