I used to think it was weird too but I’ve discovered there’s a bunch of people (at least on this site) that fell in love with the band during the post-it’s all crazy era

me, I 100% adore foxes with b,s second and crazy third

 

I honestly think this is the rare band where their second wind/renaissance period far outshines the first. not to disparage the original four albums in any way but Ten Stories might genuinely be their best compositionally/lyrically and time is being very, very kind to that album

 

Damn, the EP sounds incredible w/ a cup of coffee in the early hours of the morning. Just wish I knew what the songs were about, haha.

 

I love this albums but I adore the imagery and overall peculiar ness of it’s all crazy

 

This is the first band where I’ve thought “I owe them an apology for not listening to them sooner.” Gotta be a good thing, right?

 

Strangely enough, thats probably my least listened to record other than foxes. I think pale horses or it's all crazy is their best

 

you know it’s a legendary band when they have 6+ records and everyone ranks them so differently while at the same time loving (almost) all of them

 

god every song on foxes is enormous but especially "the soviet" -> "paper hanger"

as for "yes but no," you'll get it when you hear it. it's their most dynamic record. every song does something distinct
