Speaking of Metro, The Blanguage came on shuffle last night and that’s one of the GOAT Thugger tracks

 

Thought that 21/Offset tape was incredibly overrated outside of a couple of tracks. I don't really care for 21 much though.

I also don't like much of DJ Mustard's stuff. I'm full of hot takes.

 

A lot of Mustards stuff can get a bit same-y for sure

Agreed. I get that more material leads to a higher probability of good tracks, but I love listening to releases in whole, which is hard when it feels like the artist doesn’t even care about how an album is sequenced/flows, as long as it’s out and getting plays

 

Not sure if it's the same for you but I always have to turn off my adblock to download things from there

Amine album is pretty good with a handful of duds, but he's not even in the upper tier to be considered "big releases" and the league that he's actually in wouldn't even consider that album top 5.

tbh to me I really haven't had a favorite hip hop album that I constantly go back to like years before

 

when I look at that list I also see a lot of artists who had previously released amazing albums who have gone downhill(little/a lot) while I feel amine has been constantly improving

 

My list of favourite hip hop albums from this year is way different from that list lol

 

Those aren't my favorites. Those are just "big" releases. My personal list is a lot different too.

 

I don't know what your problem with that comment was then... They said it was better than any big album not bigger.

I was surprised by how much I liked the new Mac Miller album. I think the only album from that list that I like more is the Pusha-T one.

 

Are you clownin’? At the very least, the Cardi album is undeniable

I never really got to say this but after I heard it I was like dang I would love some the internet/Mac Miller songs

 

I just disagree completely that it is better. I wasn't saying fuck you dude you're a piece of shit but to put a rapper like Amine above all those other names seems absurd when he hasn't even released a fully realized/great project yet.
