Coheed is my favorite band ever and I am genuinely shocked this is shaping up to be as good as it is. Also, this is the best Coheed's production has ever sounded.

 

I have the biggest fucking smile on my face listening to this song. this is EVERYTHING i love about Coheed

 

That all of my favorite bands are releasing new music around the same time is really fucking me up.

This is sooo good.

 

That bass slide before the second chorus is so perfect.

 

This is absolutely incredible. This album is shaping up to be something special. Those Al the Killer-esque screams, man. I cannot wait for October.

 

This song is excellent

 

Getting an IKS-era/early 00s pop rock vibe here with the chorus and loving it.

This isn't necessarily the most impressive or grandiose thing they've put out, but catchy and refreshing as hell. I feel similarly about TDS. Seems like this LP could be slightly fan service-y, but I'm not complaining.

 

Probably my favorite of the released so far.

 

It's never bad to have screaming in a Coheed song. This is definitely my favorite so far.

in love with this song. it's so good! the screaming, the hints of IKS and good apollo 1, while still creating something completely new. this album is going to be so awesome!

That Rolling Stone interview also says there's at least one more song on the album like this one and a couple more poppier ones as well.

 

The chorus has been stuck in my head all day.

 

3/3 so far, very excited to hear the rest. I’m still not big on the artwork but the music is what really matters.

 

They've been hit or miss with artwork IMO, Second Stage through Good Apollo 1 is rad, after that they have all kind of been meh, maybe excluding TCBTS

 

That’s a good point. I like TCBTS artwork and I like The Afterman’s now but I remember not liking it when it came out.

 

GA, YOTBR, and TCBTS are my favorites, artwork wise. My least favorite is probably Afterman.

 

No World is the worst IMO, at least Afterman takes the cartoon-y vibe from No Work in full, not just looking odd.
