groovy song that doesn't overstay its welcome. the drake/tropical house influence comes through.

I need to be able to realize that not every song they release will be my new favorite song from them. This is still a very good track.

  12. these songs are like a perfect trio of 1975 tracks. if someone asked me how to start with them right now I'd tell them to listen to all three of these

It’s catchy and I like it, but it isn’t as immediate as ILIIWMI for me. I can’t seem to find who said it here, but I agree - it’s a case of accepting not every The 1975 song will be my favourite.

I’ve had it on repeat since I bought it, and I’ll be obsessed soon. Excited to hear it in context...in three months

It’s probably my least favorite but that’s not really saying anything at all because they’re all good and wildly different 1975 songs so I’m not actually comparing them

After my 15th listen I am now convinced if this song doesn’t break them into the mainstream nothing will.

  24. I don't know if it's because I've played their last two albums more than just about any other two albums in the past few years, but I absolutely love the new songs and direction. In a way that makes the older albums feel ... old. It feels so fresh and new. It makes me not even wanna listen to the other albums right now because I wanna spin these songs instead and think about what the new album could be like and the direction they're going. It's like seeing someone after you haven't hung out for a few months/years ... and it takes a moment to recognize them but then it clicks.
