I mean... if they took inspiration from like “Take Care” era Drake I’d be 1000% here for it lol

 

Drake’s got a ton of great material scattered throughout his discography, so I doubt I’ll be mad at it, but I’m also not taking that much stock in the comparison. It’s almost definitely still gonna sound like The 1975 when all is said and done, no matter the influence.

Lol Matt isn’t gonna all of a sudden sound like Drake and if the production sounds like it could work as a Drake track well that’s true of stuff on like literally every pop album released this decade - it’s not some novel comparison.

 

I hope we get a booklet with all of these cool song posters at some point.

 

I like what they did with the ILIWYS vinyl but I agree a booklet would be rad. I can’t wait for the preorder options..

 

Their manager tweeted that they want to do poster pressings of them and they'll be limited and numbered. Will be a cool thing to collect for sure.

While we’re all waiting for TooTime, go check out Bubblegum by the band Witterquick. From the UK. More standard pop punk, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

 

I will be working when it's on the radio, so I hope they release it and the music video after it debuts.

 

I would think they would premiere the song and then announce that the music video will be out like Friday or something

 

I haven’t been around for any one of their premieres but I’ve always managed to hear the song no more than a couple hours after

 

it's usually on streaming ASAP

 

This one hasn't leaked as early as the last one as far as I can tell which is good for them

I think the “Drake sounding” description will likely end up being a terrible description once we hear it. I feel like I understand what they were TRYING to get at but I don’t think it will be to the extent a lot of people think it will
