Seeing a bunch of 30 Seconds to Mars comparisons in YouTube comments. I don't hear it, but at least it's not Nickelback or Seether this go-round.

 

Seether is better than 30STM. But that isn’t saying much. I don’t hear it though

Oh my god.

This song is wonderful.

 

Second listen in. That middle stretch is so groovy.

Also I didn’t care for The Grey at first. It’s growing on me a lot.

 

I like this waaaay more than The Grey so far. It sounds like it could have come from the Vhiessu/Fire/Water era

 

the synth throughout and the heavy guitars in the bridge absolutely kill it. What a monster of a song.

 

The opening synth in this belongs in Stranger Things, damn what a cool song.

 

I normally don't care about lyrics but I like these lyrics a great deal.

 

I am absolutely loving the bass tones that we have heard on these first 2 songs

 

To me, the latest single is like nothing else Thrice. Which is great. I cannot wait to see if there are anymore surprises in the album.

 

New song gives me hope that this could hit me in the same way Black Mile did last year. Hope they took a lot of risks!

 

Trying to not over play this but fuck me it gets better with each listen.

 

I caved and listened, this is excellent. I can hear the Survive comparisons.

 

Is it a good sign when you unconsciously start playing "Only Us" on your Martin while vocalizing the chorus melody in the process?

 

Can’t wait to see this track live next month.

 

At this point, I may hold off until the album. I worked late yesterday and couldn’t listen to the new song. Knowing it’s the opening track, I think I’m cool with waiting.

 

I listened once, but kind of wish I’d held off. If you can hold off, that’s my recommendation. I’m trying to actively forget what I heard.

But what I heard was superb. So, there’s that.

 

I love this song. That bridge is gonna be awesome live. It also makes me like The Grey even more when played back to back. I hope they release the third track as the last pre-release single so that on first listen I have 7 brand new songs to listen to in a row.

 

Okay, I'm on the hype train now.

 

This song is much better than The Grey, even though I enjoy The Grey. It's like with TBEITBN, I enjoyed Blood on the Sand (The Grey is better though), but liked Black Honey much more.

 

Best Production is when you get so lost in the greatness of a song you l forget about production.
