    I do not exist.

    The numbers on Rickie's Instagram were 2 - 9 - 27.

So what if the EP comes out on September 2nd? And the album comes out on 27th? (Or maybe the album is next year? February 7th?)

    I'm clutching at straws...

According to Brandon there are guest vocals on this track from Eliza Hardy Jones who played with him in Buried Beds.

Maybe it's a situation where if you order the album, you get an EP of new songs to tide you over while the pressing plants work on the vinyl for the new record.

You may be right but I'm not sure.

I remember in previous interviews earlier this year they said that they had recorded a lot of songs and that they were still trying to figure out how to release them. Seems like they've gone for an EP and LP format, but they did emphasise back then that this was going to be different than the last two releases - these songs are not B-sides or alternate versions but actual songs.

My thoughts are that they've already got vinyl ready. There was talk that they wouldn't announce anything until they had everything lined up as they hated how late the Pale Horses vinyl ended up being.

I would love a smaller concept EP, and a full range LP.

Dear Lord, how do I stop listening to this song so I don't overplay it before the album is out? :folded:

I wonder if they'll release album details before the preorder goes live or at that moment? Because if it's at that moment, it's going to be a flurry of artwork, song titles, possibly song lengths, possible guest contributors, etc... and it will keep all of us in the states too late for work the next day.

    Worth it though.

    I do not exist.

When they were being interviewed earlier in the year they said they had recorded more songs than a normal full length and were trying to figure out how best to release it. Yesterday, Mike Weiss accidentally posted on Instagram that there would be an EP and LP and then quickly edited his post.

Me too. Every time it comes to this I'm just so thankful that I'm alive. They've been one of my favourite bands since 2003 and every release is special.

One of my best friends is finally listening to them and he's liking Catch for Us the Foxes and Brother, Sister a lot. Quoting lyrics and whatnot now. So dope.

the very first time i heard mewithoutyou was at Cornerstone Florida 2005. They were the last band playing saturday night of the festival and we poked our head in to check it out. All 4 of the people in our group (including me) were like this band sucks lets get out of here.

2 weeks later i listened to Foxes and was like "oh no, what have i done". They've been one of my favorite bands ever since.

It's funny how many people have had similar experiences with this band. I remember buying Foxes the day it came out, not because I liked the band, but because I just automatically bought everything Tooth and Nail was putting out at the time. I listened to it a few times and didn't really like it, and then I listened again a few weeks later during a difficult time in my life and it just immediately clicked. They've been my favorite band ever since.

I actually have no idea how I got into mwY. It happened with Ten Stories though and this is the first time I've been a part of the "pre-game" for an album release for them. Super excited.

I was a tepid fan of A-B life when it came out then saw them during the Tooth and Nail tour and was very impressed. Been a fan ever since.

I was introduced to mwY by a friend back in '09 (it's all crazy-era) and was like, "Heck no, these guys are weird." Then I was listening to them about a year later in said friend's basement with said friend. A couple of the lyrics caught my ear. I pulled up "Messes of Men" on my own and read the lyrics and then listened to Brother, Sister while reading the lyrics and one does not simply read Aaron Weiss's lyrics and not fall madly in love.

I think the selling point for me was listening to Brother, Sister the first time and getting to the "SHHH!!! Listen to it!" in "O Porcupine". I remember laughing out loud and thinking, "Okay, these guys are amazing."

    LOVE the new song.
