@Jason Tate I'm embarrased to know this, but it actually first came out last December, only hitting streaming now though.

That being said, it's really bad. I had a really tough time even getting through one listen. And I've been a Lit fan every album before this (hiding in shame)

It's kind of funny to me that you say, "somehow I missed..." I mean, are you really keeping up with Lit, Jason? Ha!

I liked View From The Bottom a lot. I noped the fuck out of this one immediately when the singing came in when I streamed it the other day lol

I've been a fan of this band since 1999, purchased every album, seen them live a bunch, etc. So, I donated to the GoFundMe or Pledgemusic or whatever it was expecting another punchy, power-pop rock record.

If I had known this is what I was supporting? There's no way I would have given them my money.

It's always a gamble when you do those things, so I'm not mad but... Something about it feels slimy to me.

Imagine trying to get hyped for My Own Worst Enemy when they play a country song before it lol. Their sets are gonna be so weird

I saw em at Mohegan Sun for free a few years ago and it was fun, wouldn't now tbh

The “real good problem” they seem to have is they are their own worst enemy.

If I could just forget it

I forgot they were a band and expected to find a link to a new Soundcloud rapper... imagine my surprise.

    So assuming that this weekend...

Can we forget about the things I said when I was drunk? I didn't mean to write a county album.

I really like this band and followed them long after their mainstream success but this was just terrible. I put this on without hearing anything about it and imagine my surprise when it was country...

This new stuff is garbage. Just put it in a Ziplock Bag and toss it.

A friend of mine saw them live back in May, and said that the set was such an awkward blend of new & old songs. Imagine how many people are scratching their heads after hearing “Miserable” and segueing into a fucking country ballad.

This is what the country radio station sounds like. I don't blame them for going this route.
