I’m just reading people quoting her and what not. She’s just very passionate about being back with the franchise and saying some great stuff about why she chose to come back.

 

God I don’t think they are gonna put what they showed online. It seems brutally awesome. I need it.

 

Is there a run down ?

 

From what I read it’s a one take tracking shot that starts with Michael invading a home get a knife and then going door to door down the street killing people. At one point he switches to a hammer. Ends with him hovering over a crying baby... and then turning and walking out without harming it.

 

Caught up with the Comic-Con interviews of JLC and the woman is a savage. Tells it like it is always, shoots down the conversations she doesn’t want, and points out the shitty questions. She’s great.

 

Rewatched the trailer after catching up on the Comic-Con stuff. SO STOKED

 

Bought my tickets for the Halloween 40 years of terror convention in Pasadena if anyone else is going. Not directly related to the 2018 film but the shape will be there (James Jude Courtney)

 

So far away for me otherwise I would absolutely love to go.

 

Is it weird that such little advertising and lack of more trailers is making me so unbelievably eager to get to the theaters and see this? Let's fucking go October.

I'm fine going in not knowing much about this film. Leave it as mysterious as possible.

 

Oh my god I can’t believe how soon this is going to be here. We’re already well into August which is basically September and by the time it’s September it’ll be October and once October hits Halloween is right there!!

 

That’s some time traveling type shit lol

 

Wouldn't mind going to bed on August 31st and waking up on October 1st.

 

Might be going to see it at TIFF , when the date is announced I’ll find out if I can make it.

I'm pretty torn about going opening weekend. I don't want the movie spoiled, so I hope to see it ASAP. However, I have sworn off going to horror/suspense/thriller movies opening weekend for obvious reasons. Even sometimes the first week. May try to seek out a theater in lesser populated areas near me and try my luck.

 

Have you tried an early show on Sunday?

 

I work both jobs every Sunday sadly. Always my guaranteed double unless I request off.
