Some of the songs on this hit such an awesome sweet spot, others don't do much at all for me. Could see this growing on me. I need to revisit their old stuff, I abandoned it right when I was getting into it after those allegations surfaced and I never returned

It seems like it. It references being born in 46 and "holed up in a tower sucking inheritance".

The weather’s the same if you're born in '46

Yeah, for some reason the born in ‘46 line just made sense to me on my last listen, and the rest of the lyrics kind of align as well. Might be about the whole family and the class of people they represent.

Well, this is a lot to handle on first listen. I’m not sure I can even say more than that right now.

The vacations line in Slapstick now seems clearly like a Trump reference since someone pointed out some other connections.

if i step one foot back in lambert
im one step in the wrong

that line hits so close to home to me for so many reasons, all the times ive stepped foot in that airport in the last year and a half come rushing back.
