Yeah I'm just not feeling a lot of songs on this. They just aren't vibing with me. Shame. This could end up the second album from one of my favourite bands this year that's a let down.

 

wow, first listen and i'm stunned. the first half of the album is perfect. grand paradise is more than i could have asked for and i cried a little when the song was done. lich prince is great. five cups is beautiful. the second half drifts off a little bit into a direction i didn't expect, but i feel like after i digest it, it will come around. i really like how bastardizer came out. won't drown is a definite highlight. the fast part in lambert was unexpected and definitely made the end of the album for me! time for some more listens!

Just on my first listen now. Lich Prince should be played in a festival headline slot so I can watch it on a big stage outside.

 

One time thriugh, loved this. This is my favorite by them and I can comfortably say thta because I never really loved Foxing, only a few songs from each album. This to me hits so many highs, with the only somewhat dud being GameShark .

they set this up like dealer with all the pre-release tracks coming in the first half. i like that.

eric and chris absolutely fucking knocked the production out of the park. takes the atmosphere of dealer up ten notches. i could take a fucking bath in the sonics of this record.
