Feel like Municipal waste and High on Fire fans party in two very different ways

but they party hard none the less

 

High on Fire dude(tte)s party with the herb. Municipal Waste dude(tte)s party with the beer pressure. At the end of the day, what's not to love?

I also can't believe I just typed that out but...I won't stop myself.

 

still kinda lagging with new music but I took time to spin this classic this morning

seriously one of my top 5 favorite OSDM albums of all time. so ahead of its time.

Jesus Christ all these amazing tours need to stop.

Soreption just put out an absolute ripper of an album. Throw in cattle decap and suffocation...we don't deserve such goodness all at once.

 

Well holy shit I'll just have to hit that tour up if I can.

 

Krisiun being on that tour reminded me of how much I fucking love Krisiun too. They are an absolutely criminally underrated death metal band playing what is probably my favorite sub-style thereof. Fast, fiery, and furious.

 

As promised, a special edition of THRASH METAL THVRSDAY to celebrate The Speed of The Wizard Tour with Toxic Holocaust/Municipal Waste (not to mention High On Fire).

Gonna be such a sick tour

 

I can confirm that Municipal Waste are an absolute blast live. Love those crazy fuckers.

 

I may be at the Richmond show with Gwar on that tour or I may be at the Chicago show. Guess we'll just have to see how life plans out after my job interview today...either way, I ain't missing it.

 

just found out Drawn & Quartered/Mortuous/Crurifragium are playing here tonight. Dammit, don't think I can make it

 

The New Face of Death Metal

basically nailed it

 

I was not expecting this to be such enjoyable tech death, yet here we are

 

New ERRA album "Neon" is out; it rips with some tasty riffs

 

Feels bittersweet that I got to see Slayer one last time. It’s a era of my life come to close.

 

Will always unironically enjoy these guys

 

Grindier on this but also groovy, the tone is death to ears

I think the person that says fuck at the end of that Killswitch video sums it up pretty well haha.

Incredible seeing those two on stage together trading vocals. I doubt it’d ever happen but I’d kill for a tour with both Jesse and Howard. Shame it was for a Maiden crowd rather than a Killswitch crowd, prob about half of that crowd had no idea what was happening.

 

I just think it's so great that there is no animosity or bad blood between them.

 

Yeah it’s awesome to see, especially because the reason that Howard originally left was due to his MH rather than a falling out. Howard’s meant to be featured on a track on the new album whenever that comes out, which should be cool to hear.
