It feels like an attempt to take a right wing conspiracy theory that was absolutely, 100%, driven by younger Trump voters and hoist it off as actually the fault of pranksters on the left now that its reached the point that'll probably get someone killed.

Is it possible that this all started from some prank? Sure. But the idea that its only been embraced by boomers is massive revisionist history.

 

Agreed they didn't really do a great job of pointing out while yes this could be a leftist prank, they don't really have any proof other than theory and conjecture.
