What are some other games that this compares to?

I have two months off from work and I'm looking into buying some new games. Should I check this one out?

 

Battleborn and TF2 are the main ones definitely and also yes 100%

it's pretty much 90% TF2. That's what sold me on it. And the little I've played, it, strategically, feels exactly like TF2 with more "classes". Like, there's a character who pretty much is demoman, there's engineer, etc...

 

Just joined a game that had 4 people who were clearly partied up and kept using the same heroes as one another. 4 bastions, then 4 pharahs and then 4 mercys. It was horrible.

Also I'm level 13 and just played a map I've never seen before. Weird.

 

just had an ok game with widowmaker (got a snipe double kill for once) but...we lost cause nobody besides me and zenyatta actually tried to go on the point

 

That alt-fire is deadly, does so much damage, have definitely won a few trades with snipers with it.

 

THIS IS SO COOL

 

I get so many kills standing on the point and taking potshots at people fighting on the roads away from me

 

By far the most frustrating thing in the entire game for me. I just don't get people's logic when they think they're doing the team any favours by either running around the map or skirting on the outsides of the objective. Literally, all you've gotta do is stay in the zone or by the payload. If the other team are in the zone too, you being in there contests it.

I almost always get the gold or silver for objective time and objective kills because of this. Even as Lucio.

just had my first decent game with d.va. 15 kill streak, leader in kills and damage, died to my own ult that killed no enemies and lost the game though. but you know. bright side.

 

Why in the world does Blizzard not have Overwatch wallpapers at 1080p, apparently standard is 1440 now.

 

I can't believe I missed all the glorious memes. Mccree ones are basically life.

Went 23-3 as Junkrat a few games ago and I got POTG with him three times in a row. It was glorious.

 

Certain maps I can kill it with Junkrat, others I still suck

 

I don't think it's the maps, just the players. Like I can't do work against people who play as Pharah or Widowmaker unless they're right in front of me

 

Whatever maps have very frequented/populated corridors and alleyways I can make a mess as Junkrat.

 

Yeah, some heroes are definitely better on certain maps/gametypes than others.

 

I think it's numabi, where the payload you defend is on top of a hill, pick junkrat and gg
