Can I just get a strayligjt reunion tour already? Next year is the fifteenth anniversary of the self titled...

 

We got close to it in April when John, Michelle, and Shaun shared a stage for one of his solo shows!

Maybe Blink-182 monitors this thread and will re-work "I Miss You" for Riot Fest because there's no way in hell Smash Mouth is on the bill?

 

The third headliner will be Taking Back Sunday with original guitarrist Eddie Reyes

 

1. Taking Back Sunday is no way, shape, or form big enough to headline Riot Fest

2. Eddie literally just left the band a couple months ago. If he ever rejoins them, it’s gonna be a long time before he does so

 

I find it funny some of the big names that everyone is throwing everyone. My expectations are very low for this week.

I don't actually think they're "big enough," but I would find it to be very funny if Riot Fest actually went ahead and did it.

I'm honestly not sure what to expect. I flip-flop between thinking we might actually get a special reunion or a larger name, somebody more like Rancid-sized, a total wild card act that doesn't fit the Riot Fest mold at all, or that they'll just bump Elvis Costello up to headliner #3.

 

I just want ABBA a year earlier than promised.

The Gaslight Anthem next Monday and Tuesday (8/13 and 8/14), followed by Alkaline Trio next Friday (8/17). I'm also going to the Crankin' & Skankin' Fest on 8/25 with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, the Bouncing Souls, Fishbone, Big D & The Kids Table, the PIetasters, and the Planet Smashers... Which should be a total fucking blast!

Also debating between going to see Strung Out perform Twisted By Design... and seeing Suicidal Tendencies with Sick Of It All and Iron Regan on 9/7. Normally it would be no contest, but I've seen Strung Out perform that record already, and the support slots on that tour are relatively lame (MakeWar and After The Fall).

Jelaous of these ones, haha. Especially the show on 8/26!!!
