If we sell/ swap Martial within the league, we're fucking idiots. The lad is going to be world class one day. Fair enough if the manager doesn't rate him and decides he wants rid because of his attitude - that's a decision that, though I don't agree with, I can understand.

But giving a talent like that to a direct rival is idiotic. There's more than enough suitors abroad to offer him to, even if it means less money or waiting a year or not getting a player like Toby in return. We're a big enough club that we don't need to give in to demands like that and can look elsewhere.

 

And that's not even getting started on doing it for a position like CB which we aren't desperate for. That's not to deny Alderweiralds quality, far from it, but we're stacked at CB (with decidedly average to good) options as is.

We are atrocious at FB. We have one young lad that isn't ready and is injured (Dalot), a player the manager has openly attacked for not being good enough (Shaw), a player not good enough and absolutely desperate to leave (Darmian), then two average wingers that have been converted but are both over 30 and pretty average to bad (Valencia and Young). How this is acceptable for a team that wants to win the league is beyond me.

 

The community shield isn’t even on regular tv. It’s in ESPN+. Whack.

 

It's on BT Sport 1 here which is regular for English football. Excited to see new signings perform.

Finally got my iptv set up. Lovely image quality. Think this will do me for the season.

 

Both of these jerseys/kits are awful. I find it mad that City and Chelsea routinely have poor jerseys despite having colour schemes that would make it easy to make a lovely kit.

 

You should of seen City's training shirts pre-match. Rancid.

Aberdeen didn't deserve a point from Rangers today but it was hilarious all the same.

Man City were a real class above Chelsea today, hard to judge though because Sarri hasn't had much time and no Kante/Hazard to make difference.
