ROAM & Like Pacific tour is getting announced soon, no idea which is headlining or if it’s a co-headliner.

When it gave me option to put in number for alerts on the ticket page it texted me about 5 minutes later. This was at 1130 though so idk if they have any left 4 hours in.

Is anyone really surprised that the Man O shows sold out? When they played NYC on their farewell tour, they played a smaller room that i don't think sold out at all. Now they sell out right away at a bigger venue?

Not surprising. Being a marginally popular band that tours a ton, breaking up, and getting back together to play a handful of shows almost always results in being a better draw.

It's not really sustainable beyond the first 1-2 shows in a given market, though.

I also think the time away has done wonders for Man Overboard’s popularity. Towards the end of their run many of their fans were done with them and moved on. Being gone has kinda created a buzz with them. I think people def think of them more fondly now then when they were around.

I’d goto a reunion tour, but would have skipped a normal headline tour 3 years ago.

A friendly reminder for you to never listen to black metal, the whole scene is white.

Pop punk is still one of the offenders though

Metal (not just black metal) is just as bad as pop punk in that regard. People in both genres are equally complicit, and it's possible to call each out.

While I don't pay attention to members much these days, I always think it's cool as fuck whenever the female gender gets their moment in the light with the tours/festivals they get on. For instance, the steam Sharptooth have been getting, and Eat Your Heart Out being on the Real Friends fall tour.

Also, if any of you haven't yet check out Revenge Season. Really good band.

The first time I saw a video of them I almost fell over when I found out the lead vocalist was a woman. I then went HELL YEAH!

Idk if it's because I'm more used to female singers in heavy bands, but I think she sounds like a cis woman.
