Not listened to too much of his previous stuff. This is very pop instrumental music. Could almost be a film score in places.

Pram released an album last week which I only just got round to checking out. Basically a band which love to make film score-esque music with strange instruments. Cool though.

Y’all need to check out his old band called Fair. They’re really good late 2000s indie pop rock.

The New Tides of Man album, Every Nothing, is incredible. I didn't think they would be able to top Young & Courageous, but this album blows it out of the water. No singer, no need. So good. I'll be spinning this all week.

I'll be listening to the debut albums from Lovelytheband and Spirit Animal. Also on tap, Houndmouth's sophomore release! Expect a review on at least one of these three soon.

That Deaf Havana album sounds like a christian rock album, not that there's anything wrong with that. Just not my cup o' tea.

Didn't see a mention of Tides of Man. Really solid instrumental album. I think it lacks a little bit of the "kick" that Mountain House had, but still a solid listen.

    edit: deaf/dead

Deaf Havana and Lucero today, also gonna play that new Hellogoodbye single into the ground

  13. I'm super bummed by Deaf Havana's album so far. I'm about halfway through and the quality of these songs is super scattered.

  14. Definitely need to check out Tides of Man, and based on this thread, I'll probably check Bad Bad Hats and Trophy Eyes, too

  21. they're similar to Charly Bliss, and maybe a little bit like Diet Cig (before they've had their morning coffees)

aka female-fronted indie rock that's perfect for a summer afternoon.

The Makari release is really really good. I found out about them via the band “Awaken I Am” and Awaken I Am is actually a good band I’d say if you like them you may like Makari.

I also really enjoyed the Trophy Eyes album this morning. Today is a good day already between these 2 releases.
