I genuinely love that he honestly thinks he will cold talk the Mueller team into thinking that they were all wrong and they’ll just leave him alone. Like he’s truly living in his own reality.

 

A true feel good news story

 

back around after the week from hell. but im clean af and have been busy geting stuff in line to help me succeed. and moved to a much better apartment environment/vibe wise. its smaller than my last one but way nicer interior and neighborhood, should help my day to day mood at least a bit not hating where i live and the unit i live in. lots of hard work ahead for self improvement but ive got insurance figured out so i can stay on vivitrol longer and start recieving therapy, my dads gonna extend how long im on his insurance using whatever its called, its expensive but has to be done til my benefits for my new job kick in in a year. anyway know i havent posted since i dropped the bombshell i relapsed and if anyone was wondering where i was, im alive and well and sober and not sick anymore.

 

a lot of people, and i mean a lot, either responded to me in this thread or hit me up on twitter or fb or wherever else you can find me to check up on me the last 5 days and that moved me beyond words so to everyone who genuinely wanted to know how i was and wanted to know how you could help, thank you. just knowing you cared helped more than i could've imagined.

 

Are you still in Philly? Which part of town did you move to?

I can't remember if you said you had moved back to KC or not.

but yeah i moved from like 42 and ludlow to 37th and hamilton, 42 and ludlow is an absolutely horrible block, super dirty, lots of consutrction and trash and real isolated from other people. 37th and hamilton is right in powelton village with all kinds of nice houses and normal ass people out and about all the time, its really nice

 

the idea my parents sometimes toss out that i should move back to STL is so dumb, st louis is where i got hooked on the shit in the first place, any major city i move to where there's a heroin scene (so, any of them), im gonna be able to find it. im fuckking smart and can find it anywhere. granted its easier in philly than anywhere else but its not hard anywhere.

Nice! I'm not super familiar with west philly unfortunately, but I'm glad you found a good spot for you. And you're not too far from the zoo! If I lived where you do I'd probably go sit and watch the primates every time I felt stressed haha

 

So I'm seeing some right wingers are all worked up that NYT hired someone for their editorial board that was really mean to whitey in his/her tweets. Anyone know anything about this?

after being from st louis i refuse to go to a zoo where i have to pay money that is guaranteed to not be as good as the st louis zoo hahahaha; stl zoo is free and one of the best in the country and even my parents said the san diego zoo doesnt stack up to the st louis zoo. its pretty wild and the fact that its free is just insane.

 

STL has webster university (college i graudated from and members of foxing attended (and their front of house engineer graduated with me great guy), forest park which includes the free zoo!, bush stadium (say what you will about the cardinals but their stadium is gorgeous), st louis blues games are always fun, the fucking arch, the science center, botanical gardens, greta music venues (the pageant is my favorite room to see music in ever), and so much little shit i spend time doing out in the suburbs where im from like so many fucking frisbee golf courses. i miss my homeeee

 

and we have foxing, chingy, nelly, murphy lee, jkwon, story of the year (if thats your thing, not mine), ludo

 

fuuuu i shoulda went to the St. Louis zoo when we were there last year, didn't realize it was that good. We just did San Diego zoo a couple weeks ago, it was pretty cool. They just have an insane variety of animals.

Philly Zoo is pretty awesome tho...the treetop trails that allow the monkeys, primates, and big cats to wonder around overhead is pretty badass. And the avian house is awesome, one of those walk through and be right there with the birds all around you type deals.

Not the best video, but there's a part of the zoo where the big cat and primate treetop trails are near each other and someone got footage of the cougar checking out the gibbons lol...but it's pretty wild when you're walking and all of a sudden there's a tiger standing 20 feet above your head.

 

Man, people here in the STL straight up lost their minds when Ludo announced a show recently at the Pageant.

 

I’m also planning on going to the STL zoo with my daughter on Friday, I’m pretty excited for it honestly. Like just spending time with her while looking at all the animals.

 

my parents did the san diego zoo when they went and they swear up and down the st louis zoo is better. if anyeone in this thead is ever in st louis during a warm month then go to the zoo.

 

Zoo I went to growing up allows you to feed giraffes from your hand so basically that makes it the best zoo ever in history.

 

including me cuz i cant go :(

 

me and my girlfriends favorite thing to do on lazy weekends when my mom was sick of looking after my 9 year old brother was taking him to the zoo for the day to give my mom some peace and quiet time hah
