This is good. As a hardcore MCS fan it just makes me so happy to really to see Justin enjoying music and putting out quality material again.

 

This song rules. At first I was disappointed by how short it and the other songs with track times on iTunes are. Then I realized that MCS was always great at writing short songs (Modern Chemistry, Attractive Today, Fell In Love Without You, and Worker Bee, to name a few.)

 

Hearing Justin's voice again is a treat.

 

This is just dumb speculation since we have no idea what the rest will sound like but that this is the penultimate track makes me especially curious about the song before it

 

This song is so good. Getting this solo album and a solo Laura Jane Grace album announcement in the same day rules!

Makes sense, but only In The Drink is available. I fully expect it to be a normal length album though.

If you go to iTunes 4 tracks have track lengths and the other 6 do not. That usually means that those 4 will be released as singles before the album comes out. Those 4 are 9 minutes altogether.

 

the new Restorations album is 25 minutes and it rocks hard. i love a short record honestly

This stuff sounds like MCS without the synths so part of me is kinda sad it's not just a new record from them. Will support regardless though. Classic Justin melodies.. love it.

Yep, been jamming this all day. Ramped up my expectations for this album that’s for sure.

 

2/2 on songs so far. Really hope the shows he plays in the fall are full band as well.
