Yup definitely really enjoyed both of those when I saw them. They were dead to me with Tom lol

do people really rag on "Down"?? that's always been one of their absolute best, the explosion into the chorus is fucking colossal and the outro is lightyears ahead of anything Blink's peers even really attempted

I need to stop reading this thread because it's making me miss Tom and I hate when that happens

Never liked how Tom used to sing "Feeling This" live.
"Fate. Fell short. This time. Smile fades in the summer." Never like the actual sung chorus.

You could tell he was just "over it" by the time the '09 reunion tour had started. I get not wanting to play ATST and First Date and Rock Show over and over again, but pump some life into something.

If you really didn't wanna play those songs over and over again for the rest of your life, go into studio headstrong and write a record with the other two dudes similar to the Untitled style. Lock yourself in and curate some meaningful crap.

Wow, I thought this was a two sentence response but I've been drinking and it evolved.

As for top Blink moments, there are parts in Here's Your Letter which give me chills. I can't describe it, but the bit where it goes all stereo and flows from one headphone into the other, absolutely great.

Chicago is so damn awesome. Hoppus always ahead of the curve.

Agree with all of those except for Feeling This.

As much as I’ll shit on him, Tom did actually seem invested and like he was having fun in those 2013 Untitled shows. He was singing “good” (for his awful standards) and into it.

And then....Tom. Is. Out. literally out of nowhere.

Ya basically since untitled blink hasn't made many songs that really build up to a big final chorus, songs don't have much of an ebb and flow they're just kinda there

Feelin This is possibly my favorite single from them and my favorite opening track, but I have yet to see one time where it sounds good when they played it live. It always sounded terrible to me. Maybe it just can’t translate? Maybe because Blink were never very good live until Matt joined.

Favorite opener for me will always be pathetic. First blink song I ever heard, fell in love instantly.

Anthem Part 2 might be my favorite way to start an album.

Feeling This and Anthem Part 2 are my favorite openers. Dumpweed is close behind those two.

They still aren’t very good live. Better than with Tom but still extremely below their peers.

all time favourite moment is probably the bridge of Stockholm Syndrome yeah

the trade-off pre-chorus of Everytime, that insane drum fill towards the end of Fallen Interlude, I'm Sorry kicking into double-time are all up there

Yeah Blink just isn't good live, Travis is sloppy as fuck and Mark just doesn't have that it factor live for a front man.

Feeling This is the definitive blink-182 song.

Travis used to be insanely tight...I think the years and all the shit he's gone through have finally caught up. When I saw them in 2002 he was really a sight to see...in 2016...not so much.

I'll have to go on YouTube and check some footage out ! I sadly have a bad memory lol.

Travis is prolly the tightest of all 3 imo

Gotta add Mark’s closing verses on Man Overboard and Lemmings to the list of best Blink moments

Favorite Blink moment...first time I heard Pathetic.
I bought Dude Ranch because I really liked Dammit but when I heard Pathetic.....it was life changing. It's been my favorite song of all time ever since.

GREEN DUDES BEST GREEN DAY PODCAST Prestigious

I think Travis is still an all time great. blink live now without the Mark and Tom banter just doesn't do it for me. I understand if Matt doesn't want to try and fill Tom's shoes but I think he should at least banter a bit with Mark because they're both funny dudes. I've always been a fan of his onstage personality with Dan.
