  1. Seems like something is happening with Zaha. Chelsea, Spurs, Dortmund all on the list of teams he could end up with.

I want him to go to Dortmund, it would certainly be the biggest change, which is what he is hinting at. I also really want British players to play abroad more, I think it will help the national team.

dortmund need a striker, not another wide playmaker who needs the ball at his feet. that's why batshuayi was perfect for them. also cant imagine them paying anything close to what some of the other pl teams could.

Not much use with Zaha. Isn't he declared for Ivory Coast? :p

I mean yes, but you know what I am getting at haha. He's never played outside of Britain I believe and grew up here from like four or five years old.

Davy Klaassen already scored his first goal for Bremen.

Klaassen is a good player!!! Bundesliga is just a way, way better fit for him than the PL, as it is for many of their youth products that make moves abroad too early that end up not working out.

Weird, i stopped getting updates for this thread.

Anyway, this evening really did compound every that is wrong with Everton and I'm absolutely dreading the season ahead. Go ahead and watch the highlights of a static masterclass. The axis of Schneirdlin, Jagielka (old and far too shy to be a captain) and Keane was embarrassing. Good God they were awful. I mean, it has to be Holgate and just one from Schneirdlin and Gana from now on and yes that choice is obvious. Sigurdsson looked like a luxury player even in spite of him getting our assist. His 45m ass went missing far too often. Davies came on and it was his poor pass that wasn't controlled by Mirallas (another sub thank God) that allowed Mirallas to be dispossed and Rennes to counter for their third. Yes, he is still young but he's desperate for a loan at this point. Richy got his first goal and look a real player in the first half, the second half just drifted him by. He was fuming with the two late Rennes goals, though. Tosun missed another header.

It's going to take years to fix the foundations of the club.

Not a good match that, common theme through our preseason. Lack of first team players for the opening weeks of the season is going to hurt us badly. Pereira again, the only bright spot.

And what a way you won me over

Pretty happy with this as well! Thought Slavisa managed to get the best out of him last season. Obviously prem is a different proposition, but a focal point up front will definitely be good for us.

And now we watch as £22m vanishes into the ether.

I expect Mitro will come back to St James' and score a hat-trick.

    I do not exist.

Forest beat Bournemouth yesterday in our final pre-season match. Makes me feel more optimistic for the season ahead - would love a playoffs push! Apparently the three Portuguese players we bought dominated the match. Good things ahead? Probably not knowing our luck, haha :crylaugh:

Next Wolves! I saw Dias' goal. He could of gone down for a pen but credit to him for staying on his feet.

Fucking hell, some of the quotes coming out from Mou after last night. Feels very crash and burn, can't see this ending well at all. Taking shots at the board, at numerous players. Matic out for the start of the season, Valencia (club captain) came back from holiday out of shape and is now injured.

    Just end the season now.

Denis Suarez and Andre Gomes both injured their hamstrings last night in the first preseason game.

Guess we won’t be selling them, then.
