My social anxiety spikes when I have to take my daughter anywhere. I have to be feeling particular bold to take her to the park because I know she will scream and run from me when I tell her it’s time to go. It doesn’t look particularly good when I, a grown man with glasses and a beard, is chasing a toddler who is screaming.

 

I get anxious about it too, but it's gotten a little better after taking them out more. Whenever we are out somewhere and I see kids having a rough time, I feel for the parents because I have 1000000% been there. This morning I could feel all of the parents' eyes on me and just tried to remind myself that their kids have likely also had a public meltdown at some point. I still couldn't get out of there fast enough though.
