Its so odd to me how many girls on the dating apps use snapchat filters in all of their pictures.

It’s probably bad and shallow of me but a Snapchat/Instagram filter picture is an automatic left swipe

 

Depends on the rest of their bio/photos but it has a negative association for me

 

About two years ago it seemed almost mandatory for a girl to have the puppy Snapchat filter in her tinder profile. Don’t notice it as much these days

 

Ahh yes. I was tricked into many a date because of this. Led to plenty of confusion as I believed them to be of the canine breed and they believed me to be wearing a filter yet I am, in fact, just a handsome dog.

 

I never much cared for the snapchat filter thing in profiles. I couldn't help but wonder why women in their mid/late 20s were using cartoon dog faces so ubiquitously. It's kind of not that cute or fun if you've all done exactly the same thing...

my girlfriend is my entire world. ive never felt so much love from one person in my life, ive never had anyone who would do anything for me to make me happy unconditionally. she's more than i deserve and i'm in awe every day that i get to spend all day every day with her. i cant believe i found "the one," just a few years ago i never thought it was going to happen. our relationship has had a lot of ups and downs, some pretty brutal nearly devastating downs, but we, mostly her, have been extremely strong and pushed through a lot of really difficult situations with each other because that's how deep our love goes. i couldn't imagine being this close to anyone else. im going through a really rough patch in my life right now but once i get my shit together and prove im stable and committed to staying clean, im going to propose. i used to dream of getting married to the perfect girl for me when i was in my teens but after some failed relationships in my late teens/early twenties i had pretty much resigned to the fact i was probably not gonna get married. but this woman has changed everything. she's changed me, in a really positive way, i've grown so much thanks to her guidance and encouragement. i still have lots of work to do to avoid old habits that keep popping up but thanks to her i'm confident i'll get there. she is without a doubt my best friend in the entire world.

Still haven’t said anything to anyone in real life (as odd as it sounds) but my fiancée and I have called it quits for good it seems. We’ve been on a break since last month trying to figure things out, but it didn’t seem to improve anything and wasn’t going to change our relationship for the future. We had been together 3 years this year, almost 2 engaged. I’m not sure how I feel still, just numb I guess still. We have still been talking and FaceTiming everyday (its a long distance relationship, about 5 hours way. I’m in Maine and she’s in Canada, and her being a resident of Canada) I feel selfish with how I feel. I didn’t think this was gonna happen, but I feel honestly happier alone. I don’t know, I wanted to be honest with her and it’s just how I feel (I know it’s extremely selfish of me) She seems happier too, but feels like she was a failure to me (she wasn’t) we are just both happy where we are(at least it seems to me). I finally got a full time job last October in an industry I like, and she got a great job right out of school. Neither of us want to budge now that we have jobs because she originally planned moving here, before she got this job. We hadn’t even begun to start the paper for immigration either way, which in some ways is good because it can get wicked expensive. This is the longest relationship I’ve been in, I just don’t know how things go now after this. No contact? Contact? I’m just dreading the talks with people, Facebook stuff, and the thought of having to starting over again with dating. All in time I suppose. Just needed to get this off my chest.

 

I'm just here to complain about how my coworkers took me to a country bar here in town and it was the absolute worst.

I had to deal with country music mixed with today's popular music top 40 plus the classic 2000's hits. The worst part? THEY CENSORED ANY CUSS WORDS LIKE WHAT IS THE POINT!!!!

 

Did they play Man! I Feel Like A Woman cause then it'd all be worth it!
