Same or not, I’m much more excited to spend a ton of money to see Mark & Travis playing blink-182 songs than I would be +44 songs, although it definitely would be cool to see that as well. This is the main reaction I have when people say it should be +44 instead. Queen with Lambert is awesome because without Lambert there would be no Queen to go see live. People are so weird sometimes. I’d rather see Mark & Travis perform with Matt playing blink songs than see Mark & Travis perform +44 songs, and on top of that, Matt sounds so much better than Tom ever did post-reunion. Realistically, Tom’s voice is so far from what it was in prime blink timeframes, it’s so weird to see that argument now to me.

 

So new Tom clip is good. Doubt we’ll hear anything in 2018 but would like to be proven wrong. That said, dude can still stay far away from blink for all I care.

 

Dude needs to stop letting rhythm notes ring out when he’s playing a riff that cool. Pound those rhythm notes or palm mute that shit.

 

Tom probably knocked that out in like 25 minutes to stop people whining about all the To The Stars posts but I still like it anyway haha.

 

Tom is a helluva drug, man.

Would love a new AVA album. I think the last LP and few EPs were a step in a good direction. Also, I dont ever see blink getting into the HOF.

 

Really made sure he included a photo of himself and 3 other people who most likely won’t have any part in creating this “new AVA album” which will actually be a 4 song EP released in 2020.

 

That clip sounded like run of the mill AVA. Yawn. He probably wrote and recorded it on the spot today in five minutes just so he could get people talkin a little bit after he posted it. Haha

With that said though... that riff is longer than any riff on all of California+Deluxe haha

Anyone else really dislike a lot of blinks singles? I cringe anytime they play All the Small Things, Rockshow, First Date, and Feeling This.

 

As far as the singles from Enema and Toypaj go, yeah, those don’t get much play from me. The singles from Untitled all rule. Also Josie is still the best

Hot take: I like a lot about Feeling This but I don’t love it.
Caveat: (and I’m really not trying to humble brag) but I was in the music video and heard the song maybe 100x a day for 2 days and it wasn’t all that fun :( the last setup was the band’s performance and that definitely got me stoked again but still.

 

As far as singles go, I never tire of Dammit, What’s My Age Again?, and all the singles from untitled. But yeah, I’m fine never hearing All the Small Things and First Date again. Rock Show is still pretty fun and has that great bridge.

 

Yeahhhh that bridge is up there with the best of them. Probably my favorite before Misery was released.
