we should most definitely do a hair sweepstakes. every person rates each teams hair out of ten and the one with the most points wins.

Phil Jones looks like my sisters boyfriend. Or did anyway. That always made me kind of like him.

That, and that he seems like a random guy who was on an Old Trafford tour and through a mix up ended up playing centre back that week.

Literally every sports fantasy I have starts like this. Specifically, "Who is this guy? He looks like he got lost at Wimbledon and ended up upsetting Rafa in a five set thriller."

Di Matteo taking over at Villa. There's a chance they might be good now. It's a slim chance, but still a chance.

So the second tier of English football has two managers that have won the Champions League (Benitez and RDM) and two clubs that have won the European Cup (Villa and Forest).

Everyone is going to look so silly when Preston smash straight through this league with 46 straight wins.

Someone tweeted earlier this morning that the Championship has more UCL winning managers than any other league in Europe. Am I missing the third manager? Because La Liga and the EPL have at least two as well.

  14. apparently Koeman to Everton is a thing after Emery turned us down. Maybe we'll get Koeman and Monchi. That'd be perfect

Will be a very difficult league next season. Unsure on whether or not Villa will flop. I can see Preston pushing on and maybe sneaking 6th.

Think top 5 will be us, Brighton, Derby, Norwich and Newcastle in any order.

Fully expect them to push for the top 6 but I think they're quite a few players behind the 3 losing play off teams yet.

I'm glad Emery turned down the Everton job. One of the best coaches in Spain. Sevilla had a "down year" in the league by their recent standards, but pretty sure he'll turn that around.

Championship is basically impossible to predict. Because of the unpredictability of play-offs, you could hang around mid-table for the majority of the season, have a great last 6 games, sneak into 6th and get promoted. As you can see sometimes, you don't have to be that good to be promoted. You'd expect Newcastle to do well, but it's a brutal league, and if Benitez doesn't get to grips with it, they could flounder.

I'd hope we can get to the play-offs, but we haven't been in the top division since 1961, so I'm used to the mediocrity by now haha.

Don't see the logic in Koeman moving to Everton, it's a sideways step at best from a manager that should be aiming higher than that.

Would think Alves is MLS bound. Always seems to be off the pace a bit in big games for Barca.

I must I'm not entirely sure keeping Benitez benefits Newcastle. Although all the rumours I've seen so far suggest they're targeting top championship players such as Dunk from Brighton or Lees from ourselves.

Alves has been linked with Juventus this week, but mentioned he wants to play in the EPL quite a bit this spring. Could see him join up with Pep quite easily. He's still the best RB in the world even at his age, so I imagine he can go pretty much wherever he wants and who will pay him.
