this whole #aulis plot thing on the new CBB is really weird, even by their standards. I keep feeling like I'm missing something
EDIT: that being said, K Bakes kills it as a guest on here and any appearance from Schwartz as Rodney Waber is welcome as hell. Overall, real bizarre episode, especially as a premiere

 

I have no idea why but Tom Bergeron being on Never Not Funny makes me really excited.

EDIT: This is great. He fits right in.

I've been going through Bo Burnham's stuff again to get ready for his new special on Friday and he's definitely my favorite comedian. What. is just a fucking masterpiece, probably my favorite standup special of all time

I saw Make Happy (the new one) live and it fully lived up to my expectations too

First episode of Hidden America was only okay. But I like Jonah so I will watch the rest if I can do it for free.

 

Is it anything like The United Stats of America with the Sklar Bros.? (Even though I'm probably the only person who watched that)

 

Yes! I went. It was a lot of fun. I didn't get to meet Sean & Hayes because I got shy, but it was really cool to see the show live especially in the famous (or infamous), historic Casper Podcast Lounge.

 

I miss Newsreaders. Is this replacing it?

 

I absolutely agree. He definitely challenges the definition of "stand up comedy" - I don't know if I can put What. above some of the classics, but it's gotta be in my top 5-10 specials ever.

She's always so damn good on CBB (haven't listened to the new one, yet) and she was great just being herself on Doughboys

Never Not Funny was so great. Calling Jimmys son was awesome

 

I haven't listened to the Doughboys episode yet but I hope there's more of Claudia and Mitch together in the next season of Love.

 

She's just naturally funny and her humor lines up with mine. Listening to the doughboys makes me want to hang out with her.

 

Claudia was great on With Special Guest and I was so happy when she showed up on Inside Amy

I'm just about to start CBB. I'm so glad Claudia is back. This is one of my favorite bits in the whole history of CBB.
