they sounded incredible last night. I wasn't in the pit (I was up on that platform on the left side towards the back if you're facing the stage) so I think I avoided a lot of awful discourse

spent my entire commute this morning blasting drab majesty. shit SLAPS

 

Geoff used to post on AP and it was great.

 

also every time Glint comes on my first reaction is to skip to the next song bc it sounds so much like BN in the beginning :(

 

Suffice it to say, this song is better than the BN one.

I'd only seen them as support and had always been up front, no one was obnoxious or anything but at a Dh headliner there seem to be some kinda scummy people. Anyone else feel that?

 

I was at the Atlanta show last week and the crowd seemed fine. I was on the balcony but definitely no boos for OCHL songs.

 

I’ve seen them 6 times and the crowd has always been great but one time while waiting for the show to start this kid posted up next to me and started chatting. Eventually he told me he was in a band called Buttcandy and they made custom shirts that looked like the Sunbather cover. He showed me one and sure enough it said

He then bragged that they got banned from the local diy space for making insensitive jokes and that people are just too sensitive these days. Anyways, show was fantastic.

 

Crowd was into the new material when I saw them. People moshed to anything remotely heavy.

 

I realized I've never listened to Sunbather or NB in FLAC. I noticed this as I switched from OCHL in FLAC to listening to the older albums on Spotify.

I'm changing that tonight.

 

Listening to Canary Yellow on my commute to work during the week has become my morning meditation.

Went back and listened to the albums from that list I hadn't heard before, and The Angelic Process record is absolutely phenomenal, WOW WOW WOW

 

tbh, George looks a lot like Richard Spencer.

 

In the off chance any one’s holding out for tickets to the show in Minneapolis on Wednesday, better hurry up.

 

More tour dates are coming out today for a fall run with DIIV. Cincy, Baltimore, and Madison, WI dates have popped up so far.
