Iron Chic and Spanish Love Songs are giggin' together on the east coast this weekend, so they're both out.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Did we discuss Mac Demarco being a possibility for 2nd wave? He seems to have that weekend free and has no Chicago dates the rest of the year...

Given how part-time a band they are, I don't necessarily think that means they're in the running but... I'd love to see them there! Really stoked about the Boston show, regardless!

Has anyone noticed that GA tickets have now been reduced to $100 + fees?

This isn't looking like a particularly good year for Riot Fest...

Because of you stating this I just bought tickets along with 4 other people I know. The crazy part is I went through twitter and no one has mentioned the huge price drop. Thanks for the tip!

I think that says something about the 2nd wave, cause you would think they would be confident enough that the tickets would sell when they added bands.

Besides being a little irked that I paid more for my pre-sale tix that is not a good sign for the festival. That's a fairly good indicator that ticket sales have been poor. Not expecting much from 2nd wave at this point and I wouldn't expect a big 3rd headliner being announced. Actually wouldn't be surprised to see someone already in the lineup just bumped up as 3rd headliner. Hoping for the best though.

That's great news for me. I was planning on buying a festival pass secondhand from someone anyway for around that, so I'm content with dropping that much directly from them.

Part of it could be because tickets look to be through Eventbrite now, not Ticketfly...so maybe Eventbrite charges less fees?

They just posted this, presuming Full Album Plays on Thursday this week, then my guess is second wave of artists on Tuesday, July 31
"...For our fans who’ve already purchased tickets for this year’s Riot Fest, we’re offering you an additional single-day GA pass that you can use to bring a friend, family member and so forth for any day of your choosing. Your allotment will be based on how many tickets you’ve already purchased. Additionally, for Riot Fest 2019—our 15th anniversary—you’ll have the option to purchase a three-day pass for $99.98. This price will only be offered to you and no one else. You’ll receive an e-mail later this morning with instructions on how to claim your free ticket(s), along with a private link to purchase your $99.98 tickets for next year.

Moving forward from this, we can go about announcing all of the stuff you’ve been patiently waiting for. That all starts this Thursday when we announce the 2018 Full Album Plays and will continue into the weeks to come as we unveil the final wave of artists, the daily lineups and schedules, the Late Night club show series and more."

based on Riot Mike's Statement, that might not be the case after all. The ticketfly hack hasnt been mentioned much but i guess it makes sense that it could easily be just as big of a behind the scenes issue as the blink/elvis/3rd headliner stuff.

  16. A free single day pass and $100 GA for next year is a great deal for anyone who has already bought a ticket. Super cool that they’re doing that.

In the statement, it also says, "Daily lineups and single-day tickets will be available very soon."

EDIT: I just bought my weekend pass!

Sum 41 is the only band I can think that will do an albm play (Does This Look Infected?). Anyone else have any inklings?

Really excited about the album plays, you guys! And... That I have a friend in Chicago I can offer my ticket too.

It's been bandied about before... I think Bad Religion is a lock for Suffer. Same with Lagwagon for Let's Talk About Feelings. Cypress Hill might do Black Sunday (they talked about doing some shows heavy on that album this fall). I could also see Atmosphere doing Se7en's Travels, maybe? That one turns 15.

Has it been tossed around that Blink-182 might do S/T? That album turns 15 too.

I was seeing/hearing Suicidal Tendencies first record for an album play too.

And, I love the free ticket for people who already purchased...even if I don't use it with anyone, it gives me in/out privileges if I want to see someone super early then have no one I care about until midday or later. Use my 3 day pass to get in, then the free pass to get back in later

I'm traveling from another country and I won't use my free day ticket, if your friend wants to go 2 days let me know

I wouldn't be surprised if this happened either. I know they did an "early years" type set at PRB this year... So that's a possibility too!

This is the first time I've ever been upset that I get free tickets to this. It would've been awesome to get that extra GA pass, especially for my friend who I know will want to go to the day blink plays.

The fact that they're also offering cheap tickets next year to anyone who bought a ticket already kind of removes any suspicion I have about their ticket sales being too low. If they weren't doing well this year, they'd definitely want to try to build a stronger lineup and make back a lot of it next year.

Also sounds like this ticketfly stuff has really been what's holding things up, which would make sense. I doubt there's a massive team behind this festival, so if they've all been tied up dealing with legal issues, it makes sense that they wanted to clear that up before moving on to other announcements.
