Friendly reminder that Throne to the Wolves is a goddamn great album.

 

Throne To The Wolves is super underrated and I'd be very surprised if they could top that album.

 

I don't know how they could. And if the latest song is any indication, there won't even be an attempt.

 

exactly, haha. the newest song was boring and the lyrics make it borderline horrible. i do love sonny's vocals and if somehow, they could make an album that shreds as much as throne to the wolves, with a vocal performance similar to dear diary, that could be super awesome. but, yep, they won't even attempt that, it's for sure going to go the safe generic route.

 

I recently re listened to throne and didn't like it as much as I remembered, but it was still a fun listen and I wanna hear more. The lyrics on make war may have been remarkably bad but that whole song is catchy as hell.

 

I don't think I've ever listened to Throne in it's entirety. You Me and the Significant others somehow always finds itself on repeat. Such a banger.

 

If Feldman is producing their record + Sonny having the attitude of "fuck it, I'll write what I want because I don't need this." then I'll think we'll get a record on par with that single.

 

I dig how catchy the single is despite the awful lyrics, so I'd be okay with that.

 

I was under the impression that Sonny was sort of co-producing with Feldman. I could be off base with that I'm not positive.

Probably totally accurate. That first single just had some serious Feldman vibes on it.

 

New track is on YouTube, supposed to officially drop soon. It's... a curveball.

It's kind of hard to tell cause the audio quality is like I'm listening to it in another room through some fireproof doors.

 

That said, the lyrics are BAD.

 

I actually kinda like it apart from the god-awful repeated screams lol
