Lol just played the vinyl and heard eclipse for the first time..

 

I haven’t listened to eclipse in aaaaages

 

I never heard it and I was very surprised when it came on haha

 

I’m jealous because my vinyl doesn’t include it! I have a red repress from like 2012

 

Just popping in to say "LIke Moths to Flame" is a Deftones song through and through and I love it lol carry on

 

Also popping in to say the intro of "Doublespeak" always reminded me of the People's Court theme lol

 

So I was just listening to the MySpace transmissions because they had posted something about it on Instagram. Hadn’t listened to them in a while (probably since thet were released) if you haven’t heard them, take a listen to come all you weary and the lyrics. It’s quite interesting..and funny. Don’t remember that happening at all haha.

 

I'm pretty positive that "Stay With Me" is alluding to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2/Katniss and Peeta's relationship. I haven't heard anyone talk about this, but maybe someone has?

1. In Mockingjay Part 2 there's a lot of rubble/ruins imagery from the capital city and I'm pretty sure a scene where the snow is falling in the city? ("You were a silhouette...in the mingled ash and snow." "...I carried you quietly through the crumbling streets.")

2. The obvious scene where Katniss tells Peeta to "Stay with me" as they're fighting through the city.

3. The idea of "after the war is over."

4. Katniss and Peeta's mantra "Real or not real?" ("...if it did you'd start to ask if what we have is real")

Disclaimer: I haven't watched the movie in a long time and I'm not even a huge fan tbh. But I'm pretty convinced and I'm sure there's even more I'm missing.

Disclaimer 2: If @Mike J has another theory or thinks this may be about a Star Wars movie, I will happily defer to him on that.

I voted for To Awake and Avenge the Dead, Don't Tell and We Won't Ask, and Sea Change because WHY NOT?

 

I voted for a lot as well, Don't Tell and We Won't Ask is one of them I did.

 

It's a shame that the vast majority of the votes will go to Deadbolt and all their hits.

People are strange.

 

I voted for Stay With Me, Daedalus, and Circles. I still haven’t seen Stay With Me despite going to four shows on the record cycle and Daedalus/Circles are just favorites that I need.

But now I’m regretting not voting for The Whaler
