At least it’s for the minimum. Still not excited about that move though.

That Lebron is still playing some of the best basketball of his career while the rest are either retired or close to it.

yes. he is the best player of all time. comparing him to anyone else in the league is unfair.

It's not a knock on any other player in the draft. It's insane to think that 15 years later LeBron is arguably the best player on the planet and signing 4-year max contracts while everyone is is either finished or close to finishing which IS normal.

    LeBron is obviously not normal.

I get signing Melo isn’t he most exciting move, but he’s still the best player out there that you could get at the moment

  15. Haha. Yes.

Houston had their window for one year and Chris Paul’s knees and missing 26 threes closed it immediately. I love it.

Before finalizing the agreement with Denver, Thomas had reached out to Boston GM Danny Ainge. They talked for 15 to 20 minutes, Thomas says, and he told Ainge: "If the opportunity is there, I would just like to let you know that I'd love to come back."

Ainge says his mind was open to the idea, but the Celtics needed to work through Marcus Smart's restricted-free-agency discussions before they could consider making an offer to Thomas. Ainge was willing to continue the conversation, but Thomas accepted the Nuggets' offer before Boston had reached its new deal with Smart.

"S---, I'd have gone back," Thomas says. "I don't hold grudges."

Cavs just trying to put a decent product on the floor instead of tanking -post-Lebron again. I don’t think it’s that surprising. With the renovations to their arena/the luxury tax Gilbert has been paying, it makes sense to keep Love around.

Melo on the vet min is a pretty good risk but that closes the window apparently!

REDDIT is blocked at my work...what does it say about Kevin Love????

I've been saying for weeks that I'm convinced that Love has told Cavs he wants to stay, otherwise the Cavs wouldn't be so adamant about saying they're not going to keep him. Love got his ring, and was a punching bag for a lot of fans for four years as the 2nd and third option. It would not surprise me one bit if he wanted to just max out here and put up Minnesota numbers again on a losing team.
