As much as I love Kessel, that weird bastard, it drives me insane that he won't ever one time it on the powerplay even though he's CONSTANTLY set up for it

 

It's funny the sharks thought Polak could be an essential piece on our playoff run when he literally was only brought for the Kings series because grit.

Don't feel bad at all about that missed high stick after that absurd dive

 

I've never seen him attempt a slapshot.

 

I've seen him take like 2 in his career.

It's due to his stick, it's way too bendy and whippy to take an effective slapshot. Funny story though - there's a video somewhere on Youtube of him and a bunch of other NHLers having a little friendly skills comp or some shit, and Phil participated in the hardest shot competition and, with a more suitable stick, had the hardest shot among them.

Under all that flab is some epic muscle it seems.

 

Then stop constantly setting him up! He's constantly in the position and set up perfectly for nothing. Put someone who can take a shot there

 

Even on a powerplay the Sharks can't do anything...
