So I'm probably bailing on this site. Which sucks because there are a handful of people I like on here, but I feel like it's pretty unhealthy for me. Good luck with your Pokemon hunting.

I'm talking to Jason about it. I very stupidly started on this website with a terrible attitude and I'm trying very hard to be better and not be that kind of person anymore, but I'm finding that really difficult for multiple reasons, one of which is that sometimes I slip up and another is that some people just don't want to talk to me or listen to me because of how I used to act. It's very frustrating and it's really really hitting me hard. It makes me feel incredibly unwelcome and makes all the work I have been putting into improving myself feel like an absolute waste.

Haha, don't worry about that. I don't even want gifts right now. I don't even open them until all my egg slots are full because I can't stand Alolan eggs anymore.

 

My store just moved locations in the mall (our space is being remodeled) and I can access one gym and three pokestops from my job now and the irony is I can be fired for having my phone out at work.

But all of us at work keep taking the gym and throwing our Pokes in around our shifts anyway.

 

No that’s totally fine. You can only level up once a day so sending it the next is even better.

 

Finally got a Wailord and Venosaur. Tonight was a good night

 

I have enough for a Charizard, a Dragonite and a Wailord but I'm waiting for shinies before I evolve them.

 

I managed to tag along with a group hitting up a load of Zapdos raids, so I hatched a bunch of eggs and got a shit ton of XP and Stardust.

Oh, and the last one was shiny.

Only caught four today, but one was shiny.

Got two Zapdos. I really want Alolan Raichu.

 

20 raids, caught all of them including two shinies! Was getting worried but I caught the shinies at the very end with about five minutes to go. Also got like 90 rare candies and went up a few hundred thousand XP. Fun day!

 

I honestly have no idea what to spend my rare candies on.

 

Yeah I have about 200 rare candies and no plans on using them. I usually use them on legendaries but I’m trying to save my stardust so I don’t have any real need. I guess if I had Mewtwo I would probably max him out.

 

Why do you save them for legendaries out of curiosity?

 

Also out of curiosity: how much do y’all typically spend on this game?

I ask as someone who has spent $0 on this game.

 

Was just something I decided to do at one point, to max out one of each legendary, but I’ve since changed my mind about that. Like, who would want a maxed Regice? Also, legendaries are 20k for walking distance as your buddy, so I suppose that’s another reason.

 

I’m ashamed to admit I’ve probably spent around $100 over the course of the last two years.

 

I've spent maybe $25. I'm lucky that living in a major city I always have access to Pokestops and gyms to get items. I've spent some money to upgrade my storage in the past when I didn't want to wait a week to get coins from gyms.

 

I’m not sure how much I’ve spent but it’s a fair amount. I don’t really play other video games so I just view it as my game budget in a sense. Also the cost of coins versus driving around every day taking gyms is probably lower in the long run.

Today our little group did 23, I got two shinies, a 96%, and caught 19/23. Overall way more fun than Arti day.

 

I’m a little over a million from 40 as well.

 

I said agonies for like two hours and no one told me.

True. Although I also got a shiny Roselia today about 20 minutes after the event ended and that was the best.
