found a weird empty arcade that somehow had free WiFi where I played a broken Samurai Showdown for 25 cents while listening to the new song. It’s dope. A million times better than Give Yourself A Try

What the hell is wrong with you people who don't like "Give Yourself a Try"?

I’ve listened to the other one twice but the guitar tone literally hurts my ears, such a bummer.

chills every time i hear that third chorus:

    "AND I'D

    LOVE IT.

    IF WE.

I just had the radio on and they said “here’s a brand new song by The 1975” and then they played GYAT. While it was cool to hear that, it’s hilarious how frequently this station does stuff like that

Not even just mainstream examples of this, but I can’t stand when people try to show me “new” stuff by a band, a trailer for a movie, etc. I remember a kid I work with asked me if I heard the new 1975 song Love Me about 3 months after the album came out cause he knew I liked the band. Like, do you understand how much time I spend stanning this band online?

Maybe it’s 16 songs with “The 1975” at the start. Or at least, I hope a new version of it is there.

When I read the lyrics to this the other day, I got super worried, but somehow it works so well. I especially hate/love how well he delivers the “bitch” line.

This is pure hype bs talk, but if the rest of the album is on par with these two songs, or if by some insane stroke of magic these are two of the weakest tracks, then they might just release my new favorite album of all time.

I would bet the album cover is just the single artwork with A Brief Inquiry like the original posters.

That'd be lame imo but I also think their art direction this cycle has almost entirely been meh
