Just Matty talking about the song, there might’ve been more but I wasn’t paying close attention

  6. building off this I think it's important to remember the context and where that line came from. Matty is directly quoting the president of the united states, and the following lines suggest he isn't exactly a MAGA supporter.

I guess my thought process is that if I start singing it, I'll begin to mindlessly (or even joyfully) sing it every time, which in some ways makes it easier for me to access a phrase like that. Same way I say "ish" constantly online and in person... I don't really want to make that type of language instinctively accessible to me as I'm in front of my friends' young nephews kind of a lot and I wouldn't want something to slip.

Great question for the thread though: what's the song lyric that makes you most uncomfortable but you still sing?

I'm sure I could find this somewhere online, but would anyone here be willing to compile or point me in the direction of an introductory type playlist? I'm only really familiar with the singles, but I've listened to LIIWMI about 47 times today, so I want to finally give them a real listen.

  18. And yeah, I'd do this.

Go S/T, then album with really long name, and then go back to the EPs.

I listened to I like it when you sleep... for the first time in like a year today, and I'm still blown away at how well that album flows and holds together despite the length/variety.

I relistened to the whole discography like a month ago and was surprised how well I knew everything. I expected some of the ep tracks and stuff to feel unfamiliar but I guess I've listened to them more than I thought
