blacks title reign was going to be overshadowed as long as gargano/ciampa were feuding. he was never going to have a proper run. this gets the title back in the main event, and black will likely be part of the takeover match. i dont think this is even close to holding up the division and honestly i think black gets the title back.

 

I can't wait until we're finally get black vs. Riochet on some 10 minute preshow match at some random ass PPV in two years

No it wasn't. Lars stuff was fine provided they actually gave him a proper feud to follow it up

 

If black gets the title back I suppose it could work, but it still has ripple effects to the rest of the division. What are you gonna do with the likes of EC3, Adam Cole, Dream and Ricochet now that only only have one belt to work with

I also don't seem him getting it back. Probably going to get called up where he can get ruined just like everyone else on the main roster

 

they're all in feuds right now through brooklyn, and after bk, the next takeover is war games which will probably use up some of those guys. that more than this gargano/ciampa feud would be holding up things. they really don't have to do much with the title picture for pretty much the rest of the year. plus, gargano and ciampa have been in nxt for 3 years now, i would think they're going to be moving up rather soon.

 

Not everyone needs to win the title before getting called up. Seems very odd for Ricochet to be winning as much as he has had and not even be asking for a title shot...

 

Has Black ever main evented a PPV as champion? I think it makes sense to make Gargano/Ciampa the main feature it already was with the title. Especially since Gargano didnt win it.

Id also have Black win it back at Brooklyn, and move both Gargano/Ciampa up to the main roster to feud into WM. They cannot possibly top this in NXT, and the NXT roster is already flush with new people.

 

This is my thinking; now Ciampa has something to lord over Johnny (KO/Sami style), and they can move up.

While Black can stay there through WM nad basically do what Almas did this year. While someone like Ricochet, who needs the promo time to truly build can carry the brand along with Cole, etc.

 

Black winning it back at Brooklyn and then doing Black vs Ricochet at War Games would be ideal in my book, but if we're getting Ricochet vs Cole then that seems less likely as Ricochet will probably either win (to free up Cole for the War Games match) or lose (and have the feud extend into the war games match with Ricochet in it)

Maybe, maybe, we can get Black vs EC3 at Wargames and then Black vs Ricochet in Phoenix RR weekend. Then run a rematch WM weekend before finally calling Black up. But that's probably all wishful thinking

Considering the Takeovers are main roster PPV length now, I would think one more match at minimum is added to this. Maybe Keith Lee gets on here.
