I don't hate Chris either overall, it's just that for me a lot of his reviews aren't exactly challenging and seem to mostly appeal to those who don't know much about film anyway, which sucks cause he's probably the most popular film critic/reviewer on youtube. It's good that he clearly cares about movies and what he does, and it's not like Cinema Shits where you actively get dumber watching his vids, but still, a lot more could be done here

There's a lot of good youtube money in a channel that literally has over a million subs and over half a million regular views per video. Dudes like Stuckmann and Jeremy Jahns almost certainly make more than enough money that they don't need to do anything else for work

 

There’s plenty of money to be made farting on YouTube, but that doesn’t mean you’re putting out quality content.

 

I wasn't saying they were making high quality content, just pointing out that he's very successful at something that's being monetized
