Lashley has to win 3 matches and beat Reigns twice to get a title shot that he already won

 

This is the worst the product has been since I started watching again in 2011. I don't have a single feud I care about at all.

 

Could probably name twelve people I care more about in NXT right now than anyone on the main roster

 

And just as bad, you can name the person on the main roster they'll lose to 6 months from now.

Ember Moon survived a legit UFC fighters armbar, before ultimately losing to her rear naked choke....and tonight, she fell off the top rope and gave Sarah Logan her first win.

Im basically rooting for Baszler to get called up and Cross/Shirai/etc to have a multi-year feud in NXT where they dont die that death

 

I feel like an argument could be made that the revolving door that is NXT actually helps it achieve the quality it has. Don't have to worry as much about guys growing stale, because they are gone a couple of years after they arrive before people can grow tired of them.

But its also just a hands down better product. And it sucks that the main roster doesn't even seem to care, or even think, that NXT is better.

 

What is honestly scary is that there are some people that have to be liking the product right now. Like, it can't all be smarks hate-watching it, right?

 

I am so bored with these non talking strongman promos. Braun is fine, because he does cool stuff, but AoP and Bludgeon Bros really really bore me.

 

Bludgeon Bros were DoA. The fact that it's coming at the expense of a Harper solo push just makes it worse.

I also think people drastically underestimated how important Ellering was to AoP. Without him they're just a shadow of who they were. They're floundering hard right now and could be the next Ascension or Los Matadores.

 

I still dig AOP a lot, but I’m also not the fan they need to win over. Not having a mouth piece hurts them a ton.

 

The problem with them will probably be more the booking, once they go through a bunch of low level guys they'll win the tag titles and then once they eventually lose them they won't have the slightest idea what to do with them and they'll flounder into ascension 2.0. For some reason WWE thinks the only way to build big strong guys is for them to squash jobbers and curt hawkins types but then once they get to the top they're usually clueless, like I have no idea what the bludgeon bros will do once their title reign ends because they have no dimensions to their character and have mostly 5 minute matches where they just wreck the other team and it's really hard to have longevity that way because it's just not entertaining to watch that shit.

They could at least push Luke on his own, it's so obvious the crowd still loves him and are confused by this gimmick.


I don't put Braun in this category btw, he actually has a personality and is unique

 

I'm more of a down on raw guy then I am entire product. Smackdown does things that i have interest in... mostly cause the roster is filled with guys I have interest in. Now they're still brutal in the creative department...but it's more traditional bad wwe while raw... I just flat out dont watxh raw anymore. I read results.

If rollins isnt wrestling lesnar then why the hell do you take the ic belt off him?? And why the hell did they cut the rollins/elias feud so quick?

 

I dont watch nxt, so i did not know about aop before. And I don't see any appeal.

 

Why should the guy who just lost the IC title and the rematch be given a Universal title shot?
When Roman gets that treatment we get mad on line

 

Well the idea is that he wins these qualifying matches exonerating the recent losses. I mean, why is finn and elias or reigns in the qualifying matches.

 

Finn won at ER (and has a rematch clause they've forgotten about)

My point is neither Seth nor Roman should be in the Universal Title picture right now. If Roman doesn't deserve it neither does Seth.

 

Keith Lee, Io Shirai, Deonna all signed officially.

 

I feel like the only reason most of these NXT call ups happen is to fill up the roster for live events. Especially tag teams. They give them a little exposure when they first come up then they are the ones putting in the work on the road

You are doing yourself a disservice watching anything Main Roster related over watching NXT.

 

This is nothing but Satin throwing shut out there, but could you imagine?

 

Obviously KO is dead, but he technically beat Braun and also has a rematch he is due...he belongs there ahead of Roman and Seth as well.

Smackdown does a much better job of building the kayfabe that you earn title matches. Even Team Hell No had to beat the Usos and got called out for trying to jump the line. Whereas on RAW, your music hits, you walk to the ring, and boom, you're a contender.

 

Also, who could have foreseen that a 51yr old wrestler would get hurt and ruin a story line?

Kane suffered a legitimate leg injury prior to the PPV, which is why WWE ran the angle with Bludgeon Brothers. He was walking around all weekend wearing the boot we saw him wearing in Team Hell No’s match.

 

Well now we know it wasn't kayfabe, they really couldn't find a backup plan?!?
